after listening to pop radio on the two 18-hour drives to and back from ohio, i am convinced that the music industry now intends to sell its product simply by paying stations to play the same songs so much that people break down and become convinced they actually like it. i have heard the opening to that katy perry/snoop dogg song more times than i’ve listened to the openings of songs i actually enjoy. godspeed, pop music industry, godspeed.
